So today my baby boy turned 11 months old!!! Holy smokes we are 1 month away from him being a year old, and a toddler... Wait what its been 11 months since this amazing little guy blessed our home? It so does not feel like it was that long ago!
In these 11 months he has learned to talk (a little), he now says momma, dadda, & bubba but thats about it. He has learned to eat lots of different foods, pretty much anything he can get his hands on! His favorite food is french fries, if he even smells them he freaks out. He is now drinking out of sippys and only has until his birthday with a bottle. He started drinking milk this month and is doing awesome with it, loves it actually! He now weighs about 18 lbs and is out growing his clothes faster than this mommy can blink. He waves to Hi, Bye, Hola, & Adios. He raises his hands high in the air when mommy says "so big", daddy taught him to sign "Thank You", he claps and when we sing patty cake he claps his hands and does the rolling of his hands. He stands along furniture and is learing to stand on his own and is walking with support of his toys or furniture. So im sure walking is right around the corner.
He is def a daddys boy and it is the cutest thing in the world. When he sees daddy his face lights up and he gets so so excited! He also adores his big brother loves being in the kids room with them in his saucer watching them while they play!!! Im sure he is just dying to get out in the room with them and play!
So excited for the next year with him to watch him grow!

Grocery Ads
So as a mom of 3 and a complete family of 5 I try hard to save money every day. Well I needed to go grocery shopping today, so I thought I would try out ad matching. I spent my time going through grocery ads circling what I wanted and then making a list of items I thought were a good deal. I put my information in my purse And off to the store I went. Now I am a Walmart shopper, I love the prices, I love that the store is so easy to get through fairly quickly because it is easy to memorize the layout and where everything is (most walmarts are the same so that helps). I load my cart up discovering that most of the stuff on my list were cheaper at my store already so I didn't even need the ad match. For the hour I spent going through ads and making my list I think all in all I saved maybe $2.00 but I also bought things I don't normally buy either so did I really save many in the long run? In my conclusion I don't think it works very well and in all honesty was a waste of my time. Not saying its a waste of time for everyone, just my own personal time was wasted. Now if you know of how to make ad matching work better than this newbie was doing l gladly open my ears and my mind to it to learn something new! Also on top of it all, I was in the check out line right at midnight and of course when it came time to pay the debit machines decided to take a vacation... Lol, so my groceries are patiently waiting in the cooler at Walmart waiting for me to go back and get it.... Wow what a shopping trip.

2012 In Review
Wow I cant believe that 2012 is now
in the rear view mirror and we are now driving down the 2013 road.
Lets take a look back!
We started out 2012 with my baby
shower for our Maxymus! That was a fun party teasing everyone about the name
since no one knew what it was, ha ha ha!
Then there was Fayth-Lynn's 3rd
birthday! Holy cow she is getting so big 3 was huge!!!
waiting for our Maxymus to get here! Then on February 28th that day
arrived. I was visiting a friend in the hospital the day before when of course
my water broke (I'm pretty sure all the laughing and giggling helped to bust my
water open) They rushed me down stairs to the er and then to the maternity ward
where my amazing hubby meet me to help me welcome our little guy into the
world! at 8:55am after about 20 mins of pushing our little Maxymus made his way
into the world and he was absolutely perfect! and I got to say that little baby
had some fans waiting for him, he had one excited momma and a proud daddy,
brother, and sister, and grandmas and grandpas too.
We then attended the Renaissance
festival on St. Patricks Day which mommy and daddy and the kids all had a blast
at! We got us a yummy turkey leg, and the kids got a shield and sword to play
with! Joseph bought me a green metal rose with a clover charm attached to it
which i Cherish so much! We checked out some shows and looked through some
shops took a mid-evil photo and watched some jousting! Best family outing for
Maxymus' first time!!!!
Right after the Renaissance festival
I gained some amazing friends! I started going to a lot of moms events and made
some of the best friends a girl could ask for, not only mommy friends for me
but lots of friends for my kiddos as well!
(These mommies are 3 of my best friends)
Fayth-Lynn and her friend Alex
(another little boy named Alex) had a fun fun zoo day!!!
Next was Easter we took the kids to
the Easter pageant and the kids loved it!
We also attended a church egg hunt and went to
grandmas for Easter dinner and some more egg hunting!
After leaving grandmas on Easter we arrived home to find that someone whom loved our kiddos so much played our Easter Bunny (since hubby was out of work and we could not afford to get them baskets this year) Finding those buckets waiting at the front door when we got home not only made my kids day but also made mine to know that we had friends out there that cared so much for our family to make that day so special for my babies! I later found out who our mystery Easter bunny was and come to find out it was my sons 6 year old friend! This little boy spent HIS OWN money on all the stuff gotten for my kids! How Awesome is that boy! He will forever be in my heart for making that day so awesome for my babies!!!
Now its time for Alexanders 6th
birthday. He wanted spongebob cupcakes so this momma went on a mission and made
him spongebob cupcakes and delivered them to his kindergarten class!
Then when he got home he got homemade
pizza and the neighborhood kids came over to eat pizza and spongebob cupcakes!
He then opened his presents and his favorite thing he got was his PlayStation
2, with guitar hero! Can you say spoiled!
Maxymus turns 3 months old! Holy cow
already??
Then on June 17th our baby
boy was blessed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! He was
blessed by his Daddy which was amazing to witness!
We now reach the year’s half way
point the 4th of July! We started our morning having breakfast with our ward
and letting the kids play with all their friends from church!
We came home decorated some cookies
and headed to grandmas to hang out until it was time to go watch fireworks!
When it was getting close to time we all piled into grandmas truck and headed
to Schnepf farms, we found us a good spot set up our chairs and had some laughs
while we waited for nightfall. When night came the fireworks show started and
of course our kids loved it and Maxymus slept right through it... lol!
During the summer the kids and I
spent a lot of time out of the house doing activities! We tried going to the
weekly movie at the theater, we went to Lowe's and did some building, lots and
lots of chick-fil-a mommy dates, swimming with friends, rained on at the mall,
a Lego store trip, and Alexander had his first 2 teeth pulled by the dentist,
and received a whole $5 bucks from the tooth fairy!
A couple mommies and I attended cow
appreciation day at chick-fil-a and I gotta say we were the hottest cows
there!!!
At the end of summer we had a wild
and crazy dust storm that felt like it was going to swallow us up!
Joseph and I moved up in the world
(just a little bit) and we received our New and very Beautiful mini van!
My bestie of 12 years came for a
visit and stayed her entire 8 days here with me (made my week, i miss her
bunches) we had a mini jr. high reunion with a couple other girls and lots of
hanging out and relaxing!
Maxymus is now a whole 6 months old...
holy cow 6 months!!!
The beginning of September and our
ward had an overnight camping trip! We left after hubby got off work and ended
up getting lost (just a little bit) which got us to the camp site after dark,
we heated up some food and chowed down, then the ward brought soda floats so we
enjoyed some of those and then some smores! When it was time for bed we decided
not to set up our tent but just make some beds in the car and sleep in there
for the night! It wasn't the most comfy but it def beat spending most of our
time putting up and taking down a tent for only like 6 hours of use!!! So the
next morning we woke up got some breakfast and headed down to the water for some
fishing!!! Our kids absolutely love fishing!!! This was Maxymus' first camping
trip and he had so much fun too!!!
We finished the summer off right with
a fun family day at Papago park to do some fishing and a little bit of hiking!
Mommy, daddy, and the kids had so much fun this day!
Halloween this year was so much fun!
Alexanders best friend moved back to AZ and so he spent Halloween with us and
Alex couldn't have been happier! We started the Halloween season out at a block
party that Joseph dj'ed the kids had so much fun playing the games, getting
candy, dancing, checking out the firetruck and being FREE!!!
The next fun thing we did was went to
a homeschool Halloween party. The kids had a blast playing the games, eating
lots of yummy food, baking some yummy Halloween cookies, and getting their face
painted (thanks to their daddy, lol) They love their homeschool group
activities!
Then finally Halloween day! The kids
waited so patiently until daddy got home so he could paint Fayth-Lynn's face
and to get ready to go out and get some candy! While we were out they had a
blast knocking on doors, watching the movies that the people handing out candy
were watching outside, and running around like crazy!!!
Maymus celebrated 9 month!
Doesn't feel like 9 months has gone
by at all!
Thanksgiving consisted of an early
dinner at hubby's moms house before his brother left for his mission! Then
thanksgiving day came! We had grandma come over and join us (since she was not
only alone on the holiday but also because she was moving across country and
the kids wanted to spend as much time as possible with her before she left)
While this momma cleaned house during the morning daddy took the kids outside
and played soccer, then when they were done out there they came in and the boys
played some video games together. When dinner was ready we gathered around the
table to eat some yummy yummy food, our little/big boy Alex blessed our food
and did such an amazing job at it! we stuffed our face with all the tastiness.
After dinner I cleaned off the table and we got out a game that we could play
as a family, headbandz! We ate banana pudding played the games and had so many
laughs! (we are pretty sure Alex was cheating though... lol and we know
Fayth-Lynn was...) after the game grandma went home and the kids went to bed
hubby and I relaxed and watched a movie!
For hubby and mines
birthday we went to the zoo just the 2 of us and baby! We had so much fun
looking at the animals and spending lots of quality time together!
So we hadn't had family photos all
year, not including maternity photos that were taken. We were waiting until our
little Maxymus was able to sit up on his own! Well 9 months old and we are
finally able to take our photos! So we set up an apt with our favorite
photographer in the whole wide world, added grandma to the mix and took some
amazing family photos! At this time we also took our Christmas photo which was
an amazing photo! Cant wait to get them printed and put up in the house!!!
Last holiday of the year and the one
the kids wait for all year long!
They talk about what Santa is going to bring
them all the time! Our first get together was with the Schellenbergs side of
the family! Great people lots of laughs and some amazing yummy Mexican food!
Then our apt complex held a little get together where they had Santa visit and
the kids were able to sit on his lap and take a photo! Alex and Fayth-Lynn
couldn't be more excited to see Santa! Maxymus was in aw of the beard (I
think). The next get together was with the Babbitt's side of the family we
enjoyed more yummy food, and great conversations! We then rode on the hay ride
through the neighborhood and then when we got back to the house we had a very
special visitor!!! SANTA came and brought a little pre Christmas gift for all
the little ones! Then the adults fought over gifts during the white elephant
game which we always have so much fun doing every year! We then rushed home so
the kids could get to bed so Santa could come to visit! Christmas morning the
kids came down stairs and were so excited to see the Santa visited them and
they were so eager to open it all up and see what they got! Grandma came to
spend Christmas with us and was just as eager as the rest of us to get into all
the gifts. Maxymus got a couple new toys and a new walker and a couple books,
Fayth-Lynn got lots of play kitchen stuff, tea set play kitchen and play food,
Alexander got bayblades, hot wheels, and his favorite a new DS with a couple
games. They also got a couple gifts for the whole family, spongebob ice cream
bowls, movies, and some kinect games for us to play together! After opening up
gifts we made sure to talk to the kids about the true meaning of Christmas and
it made this mommy so proud for the kids to pay attention and to wish Jesus a
happy birthday!!! after we cleaned up a little bit I got up and cooked
Christmas lunch while grandma, daddy and the kids enjoyed playing. We ate the
yummy food and then the Joseph and the kids played games on the kinect! Grandma
left and took Fayth-Lynn with her to go visit granddaddy and grammy, so the
boys continued to play games and this mommy took a nap. Gotta say it was an
awesome Christmas turn out!!!!
New Years Eve, crazy to think its
already another year gone! Hubby and I went dancing for the new year and
brought in 2013 with an amazing kiss! Happy New Year to all!!!!
